Training for WAC staff to enhance their performance and communication in English language
1. BACKGROUND:
Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent and non-profit Palestinian NGO with the purpose of advocating women’s human rights and gender equality through empowering women, information and innovative research and advocacy programs. While implementing its strategy to fulfil its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles including empowerment and participation; equality and non-discrimination; and accountability to ensure justice and dignity for women.
WAC has partnered with Danish Representative Office in Ramallah (DRO) to implement the project entitled “Strengthening Human Rights and Democratic Accountability”. Within the framework of project activities, WAC intends to provide English Language training for WAC staff on conversation and writing skills, report writing, email writing, and fundraising proposal writing.
2. PURPOSE:
WAC seeks the services of a highly qualified and experienced English Language trainers to provide one-to-one and group training to help WAC staff achieve their English language goals as quickly and effectively as possible.
3. SCOPE OF WORK
The English Language trainer will:
- Assess the needs of WAC staff learners in English Language to advance their professional work at WAC.
- Create training plans and carry out those plans for WAC staff learners.
- Prepare a training report reflecting the change in learners’ knowledge and skills of practicing English language.
4. EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:
- Individual and group English Language training plan.
- (100 hours) English Language training.
- Training report.
